The city of Sacramento estimates that roughly 1,000 trees have fallen since the first major storm on New Year’s Day. Estimates of financial damage won’t be known for weeks, but local businesses are dealing with the impact and residents are taking in the loss of some parks as we knew them. CapRadio Health Care Reporter Kate Wolffe went out to one of the city’s largest parks, William Land Park, to get a better understanding on how the community is processing the intense scenes caused by the winter storms.
Proposed state budget

A new tasting room in Yolo County
Georgeanne Brennan, co-owner of one of the newest and unique tasting rooms in California bring us the story behind L’Aper les Trois. Georgeanne and her two partners opened their “authentically cute,” French-style location in the town of Winters. The idea, born during the COVID pandemic and developed on Zoom is already winning awards for its infused aperitifs, celebrating the bounty of Yolo County in every sip.
