Desiree has more than 20 years of experience as a human capital talent strategist, ten years of which were dedicated in the not-for-profit healthcare sector with an emphasis on employee life cycle, succession planning and executive development.
Instinctively collaborative, Desiree enjoys connecting with people through open and candid dialogue. She creates a space for people to safely communicate their heart's truth while maintaining their credibility and confidence.
Desiree holds a doctoral of spiritual studies from Emerson Theological Institute and a Master of Human Resources and Organization Development from University of San Francisco. She brings certifications in Myers Briggs Temperament Instrument (MBTI), Franklin Covey Leadership Programs, Crucial Conversations, Lean Six Sigma and Leadership Agility Coaching into the fold of CapRadio’s human capital systems and initiatives.
She is a serial entrepreneur, event host, and fear slayer with a passion for human empowerment. She is a contributing author of three collaborative books in the areas of women’s leadership and business. And, she is a proud member of the international Women Speakers Association (WSA) and volunteers on the board of a non-profit network of holistic entrepreneurs, and a co-leader of the Organizational Development Special Interest Group (OD-SIG) for the Association of Talent Development (ATD) Sacramento chapter.
Raising two active kids, she spends a good portion of her mornings and evenings in the car. It was during her daily commute that she fell in love with CapRadio. It started with Morning Edition and Insight and that grew into all-day listening of news and music.
Desiree loves being a part of a mission-centric organization where people can feel and perform at their best.
