On Wednesday, Gov. Gavin Newsom announced 19 counties — including Sacramento, San Joaquin and Los Angeles — must close bars and indoor activities such as dining, movie theaters and museums. The order comes as public health officials attempt to slow the spread of the coronavirus before a busy holiday weekend.
