Americans are increasingly worried about how they’ll continue to pay their bills as coronavirus forces businesses to close and millions to lose their jobs. 

The U.S. has already experienced a record number of people filing for unemployment, and the surge in jobless claims doesn’t see an end in sight. State unemployment systems, such as the Employment Development Department, are struggling to keep up.
