Thousands of people will be running in the annual California International Marathon, stretching from Folsom to Downtown Sacramento, and that will trigger rolling road closures.
"It definitely is inconvenient for some people to get around."
Michelle La Sala is the CIM's race director. La Sala says they've been working hard to get the word out about the closures.
"We have a lot of traffic signs for the road closures that are already out and we have some changeable message boards and then we do notifications to a lot of the residents along the route."
