Right now Yolo Superior Court, part of the state judicial system, uses the facility.

But the courthouse will revert back to the county in 2015 when construction of the superior court's new building is finished.

Beth Gabor with Yolo County says they've already received suggestions.

"We've had a number of really good, interesting ideas. One idea was similar to a place in Sacramento which I believe is called Hacker Hub and that's a place for new businesses to gather and share ideas and resources."

Gabor says other suggestions include an art gallery or a place where law students can hold mock trials.

The deadline to submit ideas is Monday, November 25th.
