Joseph James DeAngelo, the suspect in the Golden State Killer/East Area Rapist investigation, will face trial in Sacramento. DeAngelo faces 13 murder charges, as well as 13 charges of kidnapping to commit robbery. Nine of the charges against him are for crimes committed in Sacramento County.
