Obviously everyone is unsure when live events will return. Here are some we found that are tentatively scheduled. In the meantime, come chat with fellow classical music fans on our CapRadio Music Facebook group where you'll also find links to upcoming LIVE STREAMING concerts, presented by organizations who want to keep us all in the music during these uncertain times of canceled concerts.

Ongoing Sac State Student & Faculty Recitals CSUS Students and faculty in the CSUS Music Dept regularly perform many concerts per month, most for FREE. Click the link to view their master calendar and check it often! Concerts are added (and some cancelled or rescheduled) frequently. We'll add "big event" concerts below.
Ongoing Sac City College Music Events Sac City College The Sacramento City College Music Department offers numerous concerts each semester. Some require a small admission charge or donation, but many are FREE. Student ensembles perform several times each year, and there are also regular concerts featuring faculty/staff performers and guest artists. Ongoing UC Davis Music Events UC Davis In addition to any major events listed further below, the UC Davis Music Department presents FREE noontime concerts, faculty recitals and student performances. Click the link to discover additional classical music events not listed below.
Ongoing University of the Pacific Music Dept UOP, Stockton University of the Pacific's Conservatory of Music hosts upwards of 100 performances each year. You'll find performances by students, faculty, nationally and internationally renowned guest artists, as well as the University Symphony Orchestra, Pacific Concert Band, choirs, and music ensembles. 7/29/2020 Classical Tahoe Incline Village, NV Family Concert “All About Rhythm.” Music Maker Faire booths open at 10 am and close at 2:00 pm. Booths include interactive activities from the Discovery Museum, Nevada Museum of Art and Blue Note B’s Horn Shop. There will be opportunities to try out instruments from 10-11am, and 12-2:00 pm. Featuring hands-on fun, demonstrations, narration, and concerts with music by Bernstein, Beethoven, Applebaum, and Stravinsky.
