Swimmer Diana Nyad To Speak At The Harris Center

Already known as one of the world’s best long-distance swimmers, Diana Nyad became the first person to swim from Cuba to Florida without the aid of a shark cage in 2013. She was 64 years old. 

Nyad continues to inspire in and out of the water, working as a sports journalist and author. She has also spoken out about surviving sexual assault.

Nyad will speak at the Harris Center in Folsom on Sunday, March 11.
