Verismo CD Anna Netrebko

Anna Netrebko 300x 300

Anna Netrebko has redefined what it means to be an opera star.

She was the first classical musician to be selected for “Time 100,” Time magazine’s list of the world’s most influential people.

This CD explores some of the darker reaches of the soprano repertoire.

Her portrayals of Puccini’s Manon, Butterfly and Tosca, Cilea’s Adriana Lecouvreur and Giordano’s Maddalena continue to develop her vocal and artistic range.

Netrebko says, “I believe I have the voice, knowledge and intuition these roles require. And I put all these things together and worked really very, very hard to try to understand verismo and depict it with a real sense of truth.”

Ask for it when you donate $10 or more a month, or $120 or more one-time,
