Officials In China Shed Properties As Anti-Corruption Campaign Continues

Chinese officials are selling off properties, as the government cracks down on corruption in real estate. Despite earning less in wages than non-bureaucrats, officials tend to own many more properties.

NPR’s Frank Langfitt talks to Here & Now’s Jeremy Hobson about the corruption, how officials are selling properties at steep discounts and about how the Chinese real estate market is doing overall.
