The Somalian Aid Concert
Sac-based guitarist and In The Flow Festival founder Ross Hammond is
holding a benefit concert for Doctors Without Borders. It
happens September 3rd at Antiquite. Your ten dollar donation gets
you jazz, poetry and rock fromLee Bob Watson, Electropoetic Coffee,
Harley White Jr. Trio, Walking Spanish and more.

Handsome Furs to DJ Off Air
This Labor Day Weekend promises to be a biggie in
Sacramento. Concerts 4
Charity brings Montreal-based synth duo Handsome Furs to the
Townhouse Lounge Sunday on September 4th. The
Canadian couple ALSO plans to stop by Off Air for an
afternoon DJ set. Dan Boeckner & Alexi Perry will spin
music by the bands they toured with around China, Burma and talk
about their third album Sound Kapital. Handsome Furs
has been an Off Air staple since the show's launch in 2009
so this is pretty darn exciting.
