Hi Kids!
I've made no secret about my opinion on children. They
aren't for me.
I was one for a
long period of time and regret every second of it.
Let me apologize, here and now, to any adult forced to
suffer my presence.
everyone's expression says it all
Like the Grinch on Christmas Eve my heart grew three sizes last Thursday when a group of Tiger Scouts came to visit the station. I was in charge of the tour & we had all sorts of fun. We recorded our voices; messed around with audio, ran around the back yard.
By far the highlight for me was seeing one scout's reaction to . . . our filing cabinets. Upon seeing them the young scout remarked: Filing cabinets?!? I LOVE FILING CABINETS!!!!! They're my favorite! Then they all went crazy-cute trying to open everyone at their height.
You'd think a six year old would go nuts for anything else: The blinking lights, microphones, the audio equipment; but our filing cabinets trumped ALL of it.
* YAAAAAAWN * BOOOO-RIIIINNNNNGGG!!!
Wha?!?! AWESOME!!!!!
One cabinet was labeled "P - S" the
young man asked me what it stood for and before I could respond he
said: "It's Personal. Sausages."
And thus an episode of Off Air was
born.
This is a triumph …
