Downieville Classic/Budget Update/Th'Mole/Mavis Staples
Downieville Classic Some big names in mountain biking are gearing up for the 2009 Downieville Classic happening this weekend. Today on Insight, pro riders Adam Craig, Jason Moeschler and Ross Schnell tell you about the race and why some think it's the best downhill course in the country.
The Downieville Classic runs Friday, July 10th through Sunday, July 12th in Downieville, CA. The Point-to-Point Cross Country Race is Saturday, July 11th and the Downieville Downhill is Sunday, July 12th
Budget Update Last Thursday, there were rumors going around the State Capitol that a budget was maybe two or three days away. Those two or three days have come and gone, and there's still no budget. In the mean time, the state has started printing IOUs and seen its credit rating downgraded, not to mention some drama at yesterday's so-called Big 5 meeting of the governor and legislative leaders.
The'Mole You'll meet DJ and record producer Th'Mole. The Nevada City native will perform in our studio.
