St. John's Shelter/ Robotic Birds/ Shoshinz/ Coyote Grace

St. John's Shelter A local homeless shelter for women and children is going to be featured on "The Oprah Winfrey Show" today. Executive Director Michelle Steeb tells you about the experience and why they are featured on the popular show.

"The Oprah Winfrey Show" airs on KCRA at 4 p.m. and at 9 p.m. on Channel 58.

Robotic Birds A local researcher uses hand-built robot birds to study the mating and social habits of real birds. Today on Insight, you’ll hear how the robots work, and what's been found.

Shoshinz A comedy duo from Japan is performing in Sacramento this weekend. You'll meet Shoshinz and hear about the All Sketch Comedy Festival.

The All Sketch Comedy Festival opens Thursdays, Feb. 26th and runs through Saturday, Feb. 28th at the 24th Street Theatre, 2791 24th St., Sacramento. Performances begin at 8 p.m. Thursday and 7:30 p.m. Friday and Saturday.

Coyote Grace Musical duo Coyote Grace is on a West Coast Tour. The band's singer and composer was raised in Sacramento. You'll meet them and hear them perform live in our studio.
