Better Air Conditioners What does it take to develop a better, more energy-efficient air conditioner? Today on Insight, you’ll hear from scientists and manufacturers about progress towards that goal.
“Roughing It: Mongolia” A new travel documentary from two Sacramento natives gets its premiere this week on public TV station KVIE. Host Keith Ochwat and Director/Producer Chris Rufo tell you what it was like to travel in Central Asia.
"Roughing It: Mongolia" airs at 7 p.m. Wednesday, July 23rd and 6 p.m. Sunday, July 27th on KVIE Channel 6.
Native American Flutist You'll meet Kel Mockingbird, a Native American flutist who's performing this summer at the Lake Tahoe Shakespeare Festival. He'll tell you what's different about this new version of "A Midsummer Night's Dream" and you'll hear him perform in our studio.
The Lake Tahoe Skakespeare Festival runs through Sunday, Aug. 17th at Sand Harbor State Park, Lake Tahoe. Plays include "A Midsummer Night's Dream," "Cambio" and "Richard III." Information: (800) 74-SHOWS.
