Campus downloading / Ann Fagan Ginger / Fingerprint finesse

Campus downloading  When students download unlicensed music on campus it can cause big legal problems both for themselves and for their schools. Today on Insight, you’ll hear how some local universities are responding to the problem.

Ann Fagan Ginger  Prominent civil rights activist Ann Fagan Ginger is speaking in Sacramento this week. As the executive director of the Meiklejohn Civil Liberties Institute in Berkeley, Calif., she'll tell you about her new paths for action.

Ann Fagan Ginger speaks about New Paths for Action at 7 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 25, at the Coloma Center in Sacramento. Information: (916) 456-9282.

Fingerprint finesse  Crime shows such as "CSI" make it seem like fingerprints are very distinctive, but it turns out they're not. UC Davis law professor Edward Imwinkelried tells you why he thinks there should be new fingerprint technology from a scientific and legal perspective.
