Larry Vuckovich on Piano Jazz

The pianist hails from Yugoslavia, where he studied classically until Armed Forces Radio turned him into an ardent jazz fan. Vuckovich launched his jazz career in San Francisco in 1960, and has since carried his evocative and elegant music around the world.

Convergence, Recorded Live in Denver

Convergence is one of the Mile High City's top bands. JazzSet visits Dazzle Restaurant & Lounge, a jazz venue in downtown Denver, to record six original players and composers in one high-flying band that's been together for more than 20 years.

Tab Benoit: One Foot in the Bayou

In a session from KPLU, blues guitarist Tab Benoit plays through a couple songs all by his lonesome, yet manages to conjure an entire band all his own. Benoit also talks about creating "Voice of the Wetlands," a group that raises awareness about the importance of Louisiana's natural resources.
