Reggie Watts in (Tiny Desk) Concert

Reggie Watts isn't the kind of musician (or comedian) easily pegged to a genre; making his art all the more interesting and worth discussing. His act at SXSW this year was a completely original soundtrack (score, dialogue, sound effects) to the film Legend  created entirely by the man himself.   

On the heels of releasing A Live At Central Park (Comedy Central Records) Watts appeared behind the NPR Tiny Desk for a few tracks.

Lite Brite to Release New Album

The Sacramento trio of Eddie Underwood (Vocals, Guitar), Matt Underwood (Drums) and Robert Lander (Bass) could power a small city with the sheer energy of the music.  Think the heavy guitars of Led Zepplin meeting the beer-soaked positivity of Japandroids and you're in the ballpark.

The band will hold a record release show at Ace of Spades on July 6th.  Also performing: Musical Charis, Simpl3jack, The Hungry, Stuck and The Trees .
