With her interests in classical and jazz plus a penchant for broadcasting, Devin Yamanaka couldn't be happier at Capital Public Radio. Since 2006, she's hosted Excellence in Jazz, Classic Jazz & Swing, Blue Dog Jam, and classical music on KXPR. A longtime participant in the arts (she's a self-professed "band geek and occasional orch dork"), Devin loves the environment she's found at the station, and her experience has inspired her to pursue a career in public radio or arts administration. "The arts field has always been my passion and walking these halls is inspiring," she says. When not behind the mic, you can find Devin playing flute or catching up on her favorite crime dramas.
