If you have chronic insomnia, the American College of Physicians this week said that it’s better treated with therapy than sleeping pills. Specifically with CBT-I, or cognitive behavioral therapy for insomnia, which combines therapy with sleep tutorials. Here & Now’s Robin Young talks to Andrew Joseph, a reporter with STAT, the national health and medicine publication, about the new guidelines and CBT-I.
