February Jobs Report: Biggest Gains Were In Restaurants And Bars

Today the Labor Department announced that the U.S. economy added 295,000 jobs in February, and the national unemployment rate dropped to 5.5 percent.
The report showed the biggest gains in employment were at restaurants and bars. There was also growth in the construction industry, despite February’s record-breaking cold temperatures.
Diane Swonk, chief economist with Mesirow Financial, breaks down the jobs report with Here & Now’s Jeremy Hobson.
