This photo, provided by the St. Louis County Prosecutor's Office, shows Ferguson, Mo., police Officer Darren Wilson shortly after his encounter with Michael Brown. A grand jury declined Monday to charge Wilson with killing 18-year-old Brown. (St. Louis County Prosecutor's Office)
The grand jury that considered the police shooting of 18-year-old Michael Brown heard more than 70 hours of testimony from about 60 witnesses, but the testimony that everyone was waiting for comes from Darren Wilson, the officer who fatally shot Brown.
That now-public testimony offers the first and most detailed account from him of Brown’s shooting on August 9. And it was that testimony that contributed to the grand jury’s decision not to indict Wilson.
