The San Francisco Giants ended Kansas City’s storybook season with a 3-2 win over the Royals in Game 7 of the World Series last night in Kansas City. The headline in the San Francisco Chronicle reads “Dynasty” because the Giants have now won three World Series titles in the last five years.
“Series loss won’t diminish Royals’ magic season,” reads the Kansas City Star, after the team’s first playoff appearance since 1985 ended in defeat.
Here & Now’s sports analyst Mike Pesca discuses the World Series with host Robin Young.
