These days, more and more data is stored in web hosting servers known as “the cloud.” When you hear the term “cloud computing,” you might picture something ethereal, clean and quiet — however, cloud computing is anything but.
As part of his cloud computing series, NPR’s Technology Correspondent Steve Henn joins Here & Now’s Robin Young to discuss what exactly “the cloud” is and where it is located around the world.
