Barack Obama celebrated his second inauguration as President of the
United States, with about a million Americans cheering, praying,
and waving flags in Washington D.C. Quoting the Declaration
of Independence, he spoke the words: "We hold these truths to be
self-evident, that all men are created equal." There to
witness it all first-hand were nine "very excited" Sierra College
students, who have been planning and fundraising for the Washington
D.C. trip for months. Two of them join us by phone to share

Kings Update News of a finalized deal to sell the Sacramento Kings
basketball team to an investment group in Seattle who would
relocate the team there, emerged during the holiday weekend. The
NBA confirmed it had seen the deal, but Mayor Johnson and others in
Sacramento say it's not completely over. They're still working on a
counter offer to present to the NBA Board of Directors in March.
