"Soul Calling" "Soul Calling: A Photographic Journey through the Hmong Diaspora" documents the saga of several thousand new Hmong refugees as they arrived in California from refugee camps in Thailand. The book is based on a five-year project, in which photographer-filmmaker Joel Pickford documented the lives and culture of Hmong immigrants. We'll talk with Joel about his book and its companion exhibition at a California museum.

Cirque du Soleil Cirque du Soleil's latest show, "Dralion," fuses the 3,000 year-old tradition of Chinese acrobatic arts with the troupe's multidisciplinary approach. In "Dralion," the four elements that govern the natural order take on a human form and we'll hear how it works from the show's artistic director and a performer.
