annually selects a book which encourages the entire Sacramento
community to read and attend book-themed programs at our library
locations in each fall. This year's One
Book Sacramento project will encourage area residents to read
and discuss two books which focus on the US Constitution: The
Penguin Guide to the United States Constitution by Dr. Richard
R. Beeman. Here in studio is Dr. Beeman to speak with us about
the Founding Fathers and American presidential elections.
Viva La Musica! "¡Viva La Música!" is the Sacramento
Philharmonic's rhythmically charged celebration of our region's
spirit - and a virtual "Who's Who" of internationally-recognized
and award-winning composers with Latino roots or ties. We'll talk
with the Sacramento Philharmonic's guest artists Juan Pablo "JP"
Jofre, who plays the bandoneon, and Polly Ferman,
pianist.
