Air Races Recommendations The 2012 Reno Air Races are continuing this fall
with as much interest from fans and racers as before the disastrous
crash last September that killed 11 people. The National
Transportation Safety Board is still uncertain about what
caused pilot Jimmy Leeward to lose control of his modified P-51 Mustang and crash into the grandstands,
however the agency released information Tuesday about last year's
crash along with recommendations to ensure this year's races are
safe. We'll speak with Martha
Bellisle, reporter for the Reno Gazette Journal and Deborah A.P.
Hersman, Chairman of the NationalTransportation Safety Board.
Adults with ADHD If you are impulsive, highly
disorganized, have a tendency to procrastinate, or have difficulty
meeting deadlines or completing tasks you may be one of many adults
living with attention deficit hyperactivity disorder without
knowing it. ADHD is a disorder that affects your brain and
makes you more dependent on visual memorization techniques than
verbal ones and is only marginally improved by drugs. So what
are the causes and is there a cure for adults living with
ADHD? How does ADHD affect a normal adult life? To
discuss this is Dr. Julie Schweitzer, a physician who
researches ADHD at the UC Davis Mind Institute and Dr. A. Murat Pakyurek, who studies the
behavioral and pharmacological approaches to supporting adults with
ADHD, and an adult living with ADHD.

Barrymore Grandfather of famous actress
Drew Barrymore, John Barrymore, was a gifted actor from a long line
of thespians. His career was tragically cut short by
alzheimers and a decline into alcoholism. Sacramento
Theatre Company's "Barrymore" is a one-man show starring Greg
North that reveals the character of John Barrymore with
music and dark humor. The production opened earlier this
month and plays through May 6.
