Arena Vote We're going to be discussing last
night's City Council vote on the arena term sheet. Council
Members Steve Cohn and Kevin McCarty will be joining us with
an overview of the next steps in the process.
Spring Training Marcos
Breton joins us from Spring Training in Arizona. Marcos
joins Insight the first Wednesday of each month; his columns
appear each Wednesday and Sunday in the Bee's Our Region section.
The House of Bernarda Alba The UC Davis
Department of Theatre and Dance is presenting a new production of
"The House of Bernarda Alba" by Federico Garcia Lorca. It is directed by
Granada Artist-in Residence Juliette Carrillo whose work has been praised
by the New York Times.
Jason Vieaux Classical guitarist Jason Vieux
has done it all--from co-founding the guitar department at the
Curtis Institute, to taking part in numerous collaborations, to
having the opportunity to play on NPR's Tiny Desk Concert, and even
more. Now he's performing in seven cities with Curtis on
Tour, presented by the Curtis Institute of Music. He'll
be playing in Davis on March 10 and 11, but before then, he'll join
us on Insight to discuss his vast and diverse musical experiences
with us.
