Girls Love Mail Letters When you think of all
the love letters changing hands this Valentine's Day you
might envision romantic letters full of poems and
hyperbole. But a group called Girls Love Mail is giving hand-written letters
to women going through breast cancer treatment this Valentine's
Day. Anyone from anywhere can write a letter, and the
recipients are always happy to receive them. The founder of
Girls Love Mail, Gina Mulligan, was herself once battling cancer
and a recipient of letters full of well wishes.
Circa The Brisbane-based circus company Circa is
hailed worldwide as one of the most dynamic forces in new circus,
mixing deathly acrobatics with modern dance. We'll hear from one of
the performers ahead of Circa's performance at the Mondavi Art Center in Davis this weekend.
Jack and White Jack Matranga and
American Idol star Brooke White released their second EP in
January. They wrote, recorded, and produced the EP entirely
by themselves at Brooke's house. They're playing at Harlow's in Sacramento Saturday.
