Proposition 8 Ruling A federal appeals court
will announce its ruling on California's hotly divisive same-sex
marriage initiative Tuesday morning. We'll have analysis of
the court's decision as well as live reaction from Sacramento area
opponents and proponents of Prop 8. Read the ruling

is the very first black female TV journalist in the west coast and
she has a new book called Never in My Wildest Dreams. The book
covers Davis' years of reporting on the AIDS epidemic (which she
won awards for), stories about her epic journalism adventures (she
met Fidel Castro twice in Cuba), and candid recollections of her
personal life--all while confronting racism and sexism.
She'll be in Sacramento this week for a book signing and discussion
about her rather unique experiences.
Jin Hi Kim Acclaimed Korean kumongo virtuoso,
and creator of the world's only electric kumongo, Jin Hi
Kim is performing a solo recital, "Digital Buddha," at
Sacramento State University Tuesday at 8 pm. Kim's
performance is part of Sacramento State's World Music Series.
