Goodwill's Alternative Sentencing Plan Goodwill
says it could boost homeless shelter funding by $250,000 if the
Sacramento Supervisors put it in charge of the county's alternative
sentencing program. We'll speak with Goodwill's CEO, Joseph Mendez,
and Sacramento County Supervisor Phil Serna, who is
urging criminal justice judges to support the proposal.

"Kid Chocolate" Brown will be performing at the Clarksburg
Wine Company Thursday evening.
"Colors of War" Artist Terry Rosenberg will be showing his collection
of work, "Colors of War," at the Sacramento Central Library through
the end of the year. Rosenberg's work juxtaposes loaded words
against dramatic typography to suggest global conflict.
