Public Safety Cuts Sacramento will be
finalizing 39 million dollars in budget cuts tomorrow night. Those
cuts include laying off police officers, increasing fire department
brown outs, and closing swimming pools (next summer). Interim
City Manager Bill Edgar lays out the constraints of this
year's budget, and why the city finds it necessary to cut public
safety.

the U.S., a girl recovers from rabies without the vaccine. How

place? We'll talk with Dr. Jean Wiedeman, the UC Davis doctor who
treated 8-year-old Precious Reynolds.
