Armistead Maupin Bay Area author Armistead Maupin is coming to Sacramento tonight. He's written another "Tales of the City" book - the eighth in the series - "Mary Anne in Autumn." We'll talk with him about his work.

Armistead Maupin speaks at 6 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 18th at the Tsakopoulas Library Galleria, 828 I St., Sacarmento.

"Escape From Happiness" KOLT Run Creations, a Sacramento-based theater company, is presenting the dark family comedy "Escape from Happiness." "Escape" follows the Quinns, a familiar but eccentric, working-class family battling drugs, alcohol and random acts of violence. You'll hear a scene.

Sound Advice: Jazz Capital Public Radio Jazz Director Gary Vercelli introduces us to some new Spanish-flavored recordings. We'll hear music from Dave Holland and Pepe Habichuela, Peter Beet and Helio Alves.
