Furloughs in Court The state worker furlough
case is going to be heard tomorrow by the California Supreme Court.

Teachers of the Year A math teacher at Grant
Union High School and a fifth-grade teacher at Thomas Edison
Elementary School have been named the teachers of the year for
Sacramento County. You'll meet them and hear how they find success

Ultimate Sportsman Loomis resident Jamie
Susslin is the host of a new show airing on Versus. "The Ultimate
Sportsman" is a 22-segment series that features 12 contestants
competing in hunting and fishing adventures across the United
States. You'll meet Susslin and hear about the show.
"The Ultimate Sportsman" airs at 7 a.m. Thursdays on the
Versus Channel.
Nagual Latin jazz group Nagual is performing
Wednesday at Sacramento State. We'll talk with guitarist Victor
Contreras and bassist Paul Relvas about the band and hear some of
its music.
