Light Rail Expansion Would you like to take light rail to the airport? How would you feel about having a light rail station in your backyard? Today on Insight, Sacramento Regional Transit is planning to move forward on the expansion of the green line to Natomas, but they have met some opposition from neighbors. We'll hear from both sides.

The Green Line Community Review begins with an open studio at 10 a.m. today and runs through Saturday, Aug. 28th at the Natomas Crossing Business Center, 4190 Truxel Road, Suite 102, Natomas. Mideast Dam A Sacramento State professor has been doing research in Turkey on the Ilusu Dam and headwaters of the Tigres and Euphrates Rivers. The dam has potential to cause great problems and conflict in that region and we'll find out why.

Food Preservation Farmers' markets are overflowing with produce, and more and more people are attempting to grow and preserve their own foods. How do you can or jar food? What can be preserved? Why is it important to do it properly? The Master Food Preservers are holding several workshops to offer preservation techniques for those interested and we'll get tips from one of them.
