Smart Growth Study A new study says Californians would save a lot of time and money with better city planning. The study was funded by the California High-Speed Rail Authority. Urban design and architecture company Calthorpe is partnering with the California High-Speed Rail Authority in an urban plan following the study that concludes that high-speed rail can save money, cut pollution and reduce dependency on oil. ElectroPoetic Coffee ElectroPoetic Coffee, a duo made up of jazz musician Ross Hammond and poet Lawrence Dinkins, was one of the featured players at this year's "In the Flow Festival".
