Financial Aid With college fees rising fast and family budgets stretched, financial aid is more important than ever for many students. What do you need to know to apply? How do you know you're eligible? What other financial questions should be resolved before going to college? Today on Insight, we'll talk with two financial aid officials from UC Davis and a students who's getting financial aid.
Manners for Kids There's a new book about manners but it wasn't written by Judith Martin aka Miss Manners. This book was written by a 16-year-old boy. He's a Landon Cooper, a high-school student in Elk Grove and his book is called "Young Manners from a Young Man."
"Gimme Something Better" The centers of the punk rock scene that started in the mid-70s were London and New York, but San Francisco was close behind. The Bay Area has been home to many groups including Dead Kennedys, Rancid and Green Day. A new book tells the story of Nothern California's punk scene. It's called "Gimme Something Better" and you'll meet one of its author Jack Boulware.
