Christina Ragsdale has over 20 years experience in public relations, marketing communications and organizational communications, including conflict resolution and partnership-building. She has launched or restructured communications programs in a variety of large organizations including hospitals, municipal utilities and local government. She has received numerous local, regional and national awards for achievements in organizational development and cultural change, internet/intranet sites, media relations, crisis and emergency communication, print and online publications, video programs and events.
In addition to her communications work for the air district, Ragsdale serves clients in the environmental, international aid and development and philanthropic sectors.
Ragsdale holds a Master's Degree in Communications Studies from California State University, Sacramento, where she has taught courses in public relations and public speaking. She is a frequent speaker and has published or presented many case studies at the state, national and international level and is an accredited member of the Public Relations Society of America.
