Memories can be beautiful, or very sad, but losing memory is a real tragedy.  Along with many other poignant parts of the book, The Lost Letter, by Jillian Cantor, memory loss, through Alzheimer's is a theme that runs throughout the story. Years after the 1938 horror in Austria, where so many Jews Lost both their their livelihoods and their lives, a young woman in Los Angeles is trying to solve a mystery of a letter  and a stamp and the unraveling mind of her father. Helped by a new friend, who is also a philatelist she embarks on a journey of many miles and many emotions.  Join us to discuss this journey, Tuesday, July 11 at either 2pm or 6pm, in our Community Room.
