There are so many characters in literature that I wish I had known personally. While reading Amor Towles' novel, A Gentlemen In Moscow, I wished I could be in the dining room with Count Rostov, or in the kitchen with the chef, or in the apple orchard with Mishka. A really great book drags you so far into the lives of it's characters that you never want to let them go. This was one of those books. Read this lengthy tome, and I dare you not to look around for the charming and mischievous one eyed cat.
If the characters can't stay around forever at least they will be at our meetings on October 10, so please join us at either 2 or 6pm to bring them back to life.
