We will all be visiting 19th Century London when we gather to discuss Julian Fellowes' new novel Belgravia. I know I miss Downton Abbey, and although this takes place in an earlier time, this book has many of the same characteristics - lovely ladies, scheming maids and villainous men.
It also has the beautiful ambience of London, although it does mention in passing the less appealing sides of this city. Not only will we enjoy an afternoon or evening tea when we meet, but we will discuss the book, London and maybe even Brexit will come up. I wonder what the Dowager Countess would have thought of Boris Johnson?
Please join us for what is sure to be a fabulous conversation. Tuesday, August 9 at either 2pm or 6pm. No gloves necessary.
