What Exactly is Domestic Suspense?

Wednesday, February 17, 2016 | Permalink

With the popularity of Gone Girl and Girl On A Train, we have had a spate of "Women in Jeopardy" books with sales that have gone through the roof. These, as well as mysteries and thrillers, are among the reading public’s favorites.  Now we can add “Domestic Suspense” to this category with Jan Ellison's fast-paced new novel, A Small Indiscretion.

Jan will be with us on March 8th at 6pm to talk about her book and to answer your questions.

Annie Black's life seems to be imploding, and we think we know why. But do we? Does her husband? Does her child? This book has lots of intrigue and soul searching, but it isn’t written in the usual way. Jan Ellison has chosen an interesting format for this Bay Area novel, and it's no wonder this book ends up on so many “Best Of” lists.
