It's almost time to ring out the old year, and ring in the new, and what better way than with one of the Best of 2014. The San Francisco Chronicle has named Murder in Pigalle a Notable Book of 2014. And how lucky we are that the book's author, Cara Black will join us for our first CapRadio Reads Author Event on Tuesday, January 13 at 6:00pm.

It's a mystery with a large slice of Paris thrown in as well as our favorite French sleuth, a now five months pregnant Aimee Leduc. The story and the city will captivate you, and we'll get a wonderful taste of The City of Light from the conversation with Cara Black. We will celebrate not only the success of Murder in Pigalle, but our own success as we ring in two years of the best bookclub in town. Join us for the party, the interview with Cara Black and Donna Apidone and some yummy food and wine. Don't wait until next year. Make a resolution to sign up today and reserve your seat for this great event.

From all of us at CapRadio Reads, thank you for making this year such a success and so much fun. We wish you a healthy and prosperous New Year, and we look forward to seeing you early in 2015. And, as always, thanks for reading.
