The Prince Of Risk

January 2014 book selection

The Prince Of Risk

by Christopher Reich

January 16, 2014

Our celebration got started with a great group of readers and CapRadio Reads supporters, who gathered in our studio on Folsom Boulevard to sample a host of wonderful appetizers and sip delightful wines from C.G. Di Arie Vineyards.

Christopher Reich, author of The Prince Of Risk, joined us for the party and spent an interesting and at times very funny hour "in conversatio" with Donna Apidone.  They talked about his book, about his writing process, and perhaps most interesting, they discussed his sources.  From the conversation, we all hope the FBI agent he interviewed for the background on the book, never recognizes herself...She may not be flattered!  Our guests had many thoughtful and interesting questions for Mr. Reich and he responded with thoughtful, and again, funny answers.

All in all it was a great evening and a fitting end to what has been a really terrific first year for CapRadio Reads.  Soon, you will be able to listen to this interview, along with all the other Author Evenings we've had this year, here on our website.

Thank you for participating in this venture and welcome you to the second year of CapRadio Reads.

And as always, thanks for reading.

It's almost 2014, and that means it's almost time for our Grand Anniversary Party. Do you have your tickets yet to hear New York Times Bestselling author Christopher Reich and our very own Donna Apidone in Conversation? They will, of course, be talking about Reich's new thriller The Prince Of Risk.  This is a novel of intrigue and mysteries revolving around currency traders in the US and in China.  Reich, was even on Marketplace, discussing it, so he has the ear of some very high up in the world of economics, as well as those of us who just love a great read.

We can even say, with a very scientific study to back us up, that reading a novel can "Boost your brain power".  With the new year, we all will want to be out working our muscles and imporving our health.  Why not start with our brains, and read a gripping novel that will help your brain connectivity in the process.

So, read The Prince of Risk, and then join us, on Tuesday, January 14th at 6:30pm at our studios on Folsom Boulevard for a great conversation and a great party.

Happy New Year from all of us at CapRadio Reads and, as always, thanks for reading.
