Sierra Mono Indians Avoid Fire, Continue Pow Wow Tradition

For the last two summers wildfires interrupted one of California's longstanding traditions: the Sierra Mono Museum’s pow wow. Not this year. The 45th annual gathering was held in the Sierra foothill town of O'Neal.
