These state marketplace are key parts of the Affordable Care Act, or Obamacare, and will provide insurance seekers with a place to compare rates and plans while shopping for coverage.

Nevada and California have both opted to run their own exchanges, although the two states have taken different tactics in implementing the marketplaces.

Capital Public Radio’s Healthcare Reporter Pauline Bartolone recently sat down with the directors of California and Nevada’s health-benefit exchanges to talk about their respective plans.
