The Washoe County Department of Emergency Services says the
Nevada National Guard, the State Division of Forestry and other
emergency management agencies are mobilizing.
The National Weather Service has issued a flood warning along the Truckee River… and flooding could be the worst in 25 years.
More than 40 sand bag locations have been set up to operate through the week-end.
People who live in the area are being advised to collect
flashlights, food, water, medications, batteries and other supplies
in case of power outages.
