The latest Field Poll estimates that 12.75 million
Californians will vote in today's Presidential election… one
million fewer than in 2008.
If that prediction holds true, 70 percent of registered voters
will cast ballots statewide, or almost 54-percent of all eligible
voters.
The Field poll also predicts that the number of people who
vote by mail will reach a record high.
And for the first time in a statewide election voting by mail
will surpass the number of people who vote at the polls.
An estimated 51-percent will cast their ballot by mail.
